Welcome to the official website of Boldmere Tuition Ltd, we are a family run business that offers outstanding, personalised tuition to its students.
- Boldmere tuition offers personalised tuition by qualified teachers with over 70 years combined experience. We have all been rated outstanding by Ofsted.
- Our aim is to provide fun, engaging learning experiences to support and benefit your child’s learning experience.
- Our 1 hour sessions are made of small groups, where children of similar ability are learning the same subject content. The work set is personalised for your child to make progress.
- We offer sessions to help support your child to achieve the 11+ entrance exam, key stage 2 numeracy and literacy support is also available (years 3,4,5 and 6).
- Personalised tutoring sessions are now available. Places are already being filled for September start. Book introductory session sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment. Tuition via zoom. It has proved to be successful as parents can see and hear what is being taught, and there is no travel.

Online tuition!
Suitable for all primary children.
If your child needs help to make progress, we can provide online tutoring
– PDF documents sent before lessons, to be printed before the lesson.
1 hour personalised tuition (through zoom -If you haven’t used it before, don’t worry. We will help you set this up).
– Personalised homework; set after lesson, to maximise your child’s learning (this will be sent via email to parents).
Feedback given after every lesson explaining your child’s progress.
KS2 SATs
8 – 11 Year Olds
We offer different classes, depending on what your child needs.
We offer a mix or separate lessons focusing on the below:
Mathematics – Reasoning and Arithmetic skills.
Reading – comprehension and decoding skills.
GPS – Grammar, punctuation and spelling.
Learning all grammar terms. Writing – Applying grammar knowledge to writing.
11+ Yr4s 2 Year Program
A one or two year course which prepares children for the demands of the admission tests for grammar schools.
The course focuses on four main areas
Mathematics
Reading comprehension
Non-verbal skills
Verbal reasoning
11+ Yr5s 1 Year Program
Does your child need help with GCSE maths or English! Boldmere tuition is happy to announce new classes starting after February half term.
If your child needs help to secure a level 4/5 in English language or Maths, we can offer them 12 weeks tuition. Will bring them up to the start of their GCES exam’s
GCSE English Language.
It is focusing on language content and exam practice. It is taught by ‘outstanding’ English teachers, who have many years experience and success helping children achieve this goal. Lessons start Sunday 25th February. Lessons are Sundays 12:30 – 1:30.
GCSE Maths.
It is focusing on topic content and exam practice. It is taught by ‘outstanding’ Secondary teachers, who have many years experience and success helping children achieve this goal. Lessons start after February half term. GCSE Tuition.
All lessons online.
The groups are small – only 5 students so they get the support they need. Before tuition starts – your child will get a folder with all resources they need. Parents – you get regular feedback from your child’s tutor explaining their progress and what they need to practice before next lesson. The 12 week language programme should be £420 (£35 per lesson) If you pay at the start, buy 10 get 2 free (£350)
